Decorate & Sip Nights – Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket to a Sweet Caroline Gingerbread & Biscuits Decorate & Sip Night, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Tickets & Attendance
Tickets are valid only for the Decorate & Sip Night and date selected at the time of booking.
Our Decorate & Sip Nights are strictly 18+ events, and all guests attending must be 18 years of age or over.
Cancellations, Refunds & Date Changes
Please choose your event date carefully before purchasing.
Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind or if you are unable to attend your booked session, except where otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.
If you can no longer attend, your ticket may be transferred to another person at no additional charge. Please contact Sweet Caroline prior to the event with the new attendee's details.
Requests to move your booking to another available Decorate & Sip Night may be made at least 7 days before your booked event. Date changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Unfortunately, requests to change dates made within 7 days of your booked event cannot be accommodated.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Event Cancellation or Changes
In the unlikely event that Sweet Caroline cancels a Decorate & Sip Night, ticket holders will be contacted and offered an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If circumstances require us to make a significant change to an event, affected ticket holders will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible.
Dietary Requirements & Allergens
Our Decorate & Sip Nights use Sweet Caroline's standard gingerbread recipe.
Our gingerbread houses contain gluten. Gluten-free and vegan gingerbread house options are not available for these events.
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have been advised that gluten-free and vegan options are not available.
Guests with allergies or dietary concerns should contact Sweet Caroline before purchasing a ticket to discuss ingredient information and whether the event is suitable for them.
Food & Beverages
Each ticket includes one welcome cocktail on arrival. Additional beverages may be purchased from the LOEV bar at the guest's own expense.
Beverages of any kind, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cannot be brought into LOEV. All beverages consumed at the venue must be supplied or purchased through LOEV.
Food is not supplied or available for purchase at LOEV. Guests are welcome to bring their own food or platter to enjoy during the evening.
Alcohol will only be served in accordance with applicable Victorian liquor licensing requirements and the venue's Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations.
Event Times
Doors and the bar open at 7.00 pm.
Gingerbread house decorating commences promptly at 7.30 pm and concludes at approximately 9.30 pm. The bar will remain open following the decorating session.
Guests are responsible for arriving in sufficient time to participate in the workshop.
Refunds or replacement sessions cannot be provided where a guest misses all or part of the event due to late arrival or circumstances outside Sweet Caroline's control, except where required by law.
Your Gingerbread House
Each ticket includes one large, pre-assembled Sweet Caroline gingerbread house, pre-made royal icing and a generous selection of lollies and decorations for use during the workshop.
At the conclusion of the evening, the Sweet Caroline team will wrap your finished gingerbread house in cellophane and tie it with a red bow, ready for you to take home.
Once your gingerbread house has been handed to you at the conclusion of the event, responsibility for its safe transport and storage passes to you.
Photography & Video
Photography and video may be taken during our Decorate & Sip Nights for use across Sweet Caroline's website, social media, and marketing.
If you would prefer not to appear in photographs or video, please let a Sweet Caroline team member know when you arrive and we will respect your preference.

Guests must comply with reasonable directions from Sweet Caroline and LOEV staff while attending the event.
Sweet Caroline and LOEV reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol or require a guest to leave where reasonably necessary for safety, Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements or serious inappropriate behaviour.
Australian Consumer Law
These Terms & Conditions do not exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
