Hello! I’m Caroline, founder of Sweet Caroline Gingerbread & Biscuits. Self taught baker, Mumma to 2 gorgeous girls & Breast Cancer fighter.
Like many small businesses in Australia, mine was born from adversity during the Covid pandemic & subsequent lockdowns in 2020. Sweet Caroline had been my 'side hustle' for a few years, allowing me to indulge in making Gingerbread Houses each Christmas.
In March 2020, I had taken a break from work, as I recovered from Breast Cancer surgery. During the lockdowns & periods of remote school learning, I made the decision to grow my business, so I could continue to work from home.
Sweet Caroline outgrew my home Council registered kitchen & we are now based in our commercial premises in Mills Street Cheltenham, Victoria. I still pinch myself, as I see our Cookies, Gingerbread Houses & Gingerbread House Kits shipped all over Australia!
